Let's quote!

Hi everyone! I love quotations, and I've got quite a few favourite ones. Do you know what a quotation is? Well, the OED (Oxford English Dictionary) defines it as "a group of words or a short piece of writing taken from a book, play, speech, etc. and repeated because it is interesting or useful".

I invite everyone to post a quotation they like (it can be from a song or book you have listened to or read). If you can't think of one right now, you can always check this site where you'll find lots... Here's some of my favourites:

" A friend is one before whom I may think aloud" (Ralph Waldo Emerson, Us essayist and poet)

"Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes" (Mahatma Gandhi, Indian poltical and spiritual leader)

"We live in an age when unnecessary things are our only necessities" (Oscar Wilde, Irish dramatist, novelist and poet)

Let's revise our grammar!

It's a good idea to revise grammar contents from time to time. The links below will take my 2nd of ESO students to interesting websites where you can practise in a fun way what we have already studied:
